The aim of orthodontic treatment is to achieve an attractive smile with a comfortable bite. Orthodontic treatment, under the guidance of an orthodontist, utilizes dental braces or aligners to effectively straighten and align your teeth. This not only improves oral health but also leads to a visually appealing and confident smile.
Dental braces can address situations like spacing between teeth, crowding of teeth and malocclusions such as open bites, deep bites and crossbites. At NOA Dental Clinic, we treat people of all ages and offer different kinds of braces in Dubai including metal, ceramic, Damon, lingual and invisible braces. By offering transparent pricing and personalized treatment plans, we make it easy for patients to understand the teeth braces price in Dubai and make confident decisions without surprises.
Metal braces present an affordable treatment option and an effective approach to correct most orthodontic situations. At NOA, we use only 3M, Ormco and American Orthodontics metal brackets.
In ceramic braces, the brackets are transparent to blend in with one’s teeth. Ceramic braces cannot be removed during the course of the treatment, thus enabling optimal control over the teeth straightening process.
Damon clear braces combine self-ligating brackets and shape-memory wires and have been clinically proven to move teeth faster while achieving the desired smile and facial results.
Lingual braces are hidden from view as they are bonded onto the backside of your teeth. The brackets and wires are custom made for each patient to maximize comfort and ensure precise results.
Invisalign® is a series of custom-made removable aligners that have been generated by 3D Imaging technology. Each aligner is worn for a specific period of time and is designed to move the teeth progressively into place.
Retainers are customized appliances prescribed after orthodontic treatment to hold teeth in place and prevent orthodontic relapse. They could be either removable clear retainers or fixed metal retainers.
| Metal / Ceramic | Damon | Lingual | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visibility | Visible, or tooth-coloured with ceramic | Lower profile | Fully hidden |
| Adjustments | Every 4 to 6 weeks | Fewer visits | Specialist adjustments |
| Comfort | Standard | Gentler, no elastics | Tongue adaptation of 1 to 2 months |
| Relative cost | Lowest | Mid | Highest |
Each type suits different priorities. Compare Damon braces, lingual braces, and Invisalign in detail, or book a consultation and we will recommend the right option for your case.

Dr. Anupama is excellent at her craft. Very open in her advise and very conservative in recommending procedures that are not absolutely essential to dental health.Posted on Google DrSucheta SharmaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Braces at NOA range from AED 8,000 to 20,000, depending on the type of braces you choose and the complexity of your case. See our braces cost section above for the full breakdown. We offer flexible payment options, and consultations are complimentary.
A few factors shape the price. The type of braces matters, as metal, ceramic, self-ligating Damon, and clear aligners each sit in their own range. The complexity of your case matters too, since more involved cases may need longer treatment and more adjustments. Longer treatments generally cost more, and the orthodontist’s experience can also play a part. Your exact cost is confirmed after an assessment.
An orthodontist is a dental specialist who focuses on the alignment of the teeth and jaws to improve their position, function, and appearance. Using braces and other appliances, an orthodontist corrects issues like crowding, spacing, and bite problems to create a healthier, straighter smile.
Braces work by applying gentle, continuous pressure to the teeth over time, gradually guiding them into position. The brackets attached to your teeth and the wire that connects them direct this movement, and periodic adjustments keep the treatment progressing toward the final alignment. This steady pressure allows the bone around the teeth to remodel so the new positions hold.
We offer several options to suit different needs and budgets: metal braces, the traditional and most affordable choice; ceramic braces, with tooth-coloured brackets for a less noticeable look; self-ligating Damon braces, which use special clips instead of elastics for fewer adjustments; and clear aligners such as Invisalign, removable trays you take out to eat. Your orthodontist will help you choose the option that best fits your lifestyle at your consultation.
There is no upper age limit. As long as your gums, supporting bone, and teeth are healthy, braces can work at any age. For children, an orthodontic check around age 7 helps identify any developing concerns early, with treatment often starting between 8 and 14. In adults the bone is denser, so teeth can take a little longer to move, but with the right plan excellent results are achieved well into adulthood.
Most people feel some mild discomfort in the first week after braces are fitted, and again briefly after adjustments, as the teeth begin to move. This is normal and settles quickly. Over-the-counter pain relief and soft foods help during these short adjustment periods, and any sharp edges can be smoothed with orthodontic wax.
Treatment usually takes between 1 and 2 years, depending on the type of braces and how much correction is needed. Ceramic braces can take a little longer than metal, as they move teeth more gently. You will get a realistic timeline for your case once your treatment plan is agreed.
In general, your orthodontist will see you every 4 to 8 weeks to check progress and make adjustments. Self-ligating Damon braces often need fewer visits. Keeping these appointments is important, as they keep your treatment on track toward the planned result.
Good hygiene is essential during treatment. Brush after every meal and snack, holding the brush at a 45-degree angle to the gumline and cleaning carefully around the brackets and wires. Rinse with water before brushing, and use an interdental brush or a floss threader to clean under the wires. If you have ceramic braces, drinking through a straw and rinsing after meals helps prevent staining. Good hygiene keeps your teeth healthy and your treatment on schedule.
Tooth movement varies from person to person. Some people notice changes as early as 4 weeks after their braces are fitted, and on average teeth move around 1mm per month. Steady, gradual movement is what keeps treatment safe and comfortable, so it is normal for the process to take time.
After braces, you will need to wear retainers to hold your teeth in their new positions. Teeth naturally tend to drift back, and the surrounding bone and gums need time to settle, so consistent retainer use is what keeps your results. We will fit your retainers and explain how long to wear them. You can read more on our retainers page.
